Mamasa's 22nd Anniversary: "Mamasa Mamase, Rise Stronger"

[Monday, 4/3/2024] - Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi, opened a series of events for its 22nd Anniversary by holding a morning assembly at Kondosapata Square. The event was attended by all Mamasa Regency Regional Government employees, and was also attended by the Head of the Mamasa Regency Central Statistics Agency, Aan Setyawan, as an invited guest.

The opening speech for Mamasa's 22nd anniversary was delivered by Acting Regent of Mamasa, Muhammad Zain, set the theme "Rising Stronger". In his speech, Zain invited all generations to maintain local wisdom, saying, "Don't let the wisdom of our ancestors be lost in our current generation. When the sentences, words and messages of our ancestors are forgotten, we lose the noble values in our relationships. Those noble messages it always says, that Mamasa is Mamase, rise stronger."

Apart from that, Zain also expressed his gratitude to the people of Mamasa Regency for their active participation in the elections on February 14. He emphasized the importance of community participation in strengthening democracy and determining the direction of government that the people want. The spirit of democracy reflected in this participation is considered a strong basis for sustainable and equitable development.
