[Wednesday, 6/3/2024] - BPS Mamasa Regency held another Sectoral Statistics Development which was attended by various representatives of Agencies/Regional Apparatus Organizations within Mamasa Regency which took place in the Sajojo Hotel Hall.
The Head of BPS Mamasa Regency, Aan Setyawan, directly conveyed the purpose of this activity. In his report, Aan explained that the development of sectoral statistics aims to provide guidance to Regional Apparatus Organizations in implementing sectoral statistics, encouraging collaboration as part of One Data Indonesia as the implementation of the National Statistical System, and as a first step in evaluating the implementation of sectoral statistics in 2024.
Acting Regent of Mamasa, Muhammad Zain, who attended and opened this activity, gave directions that the Mamasa Regency Statistical Development Index still needed to be increased from the previous figure of 1.32. Muhammad Zain encouraged Sectoral Statistics organizers to follow BPS guidelines in improving the quality of their implementation. "Good collaboration between the Regional Government and BPS is very necessary to improve the quality of sectoral statistics in Mamasa Regency," he said.
BPS gives awards to Regional Apparatus Organizations who excel in implementing Sectoral Statistics. The Health Service received an award as the Work Unit Implementing a Smooth and Timely Self-Assessment, the Communication, Informatics and Coding Service won the best Statistical Metadata Reporting award, while the Population and Civil Registration Service was recognized as the best contributor to the preparation of the 2024 Mamasa Regency publication in Figures.
This activity also included material presentations by resource persons from BPS Mamasa Regency, including Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics by Muhammad Pandi Ridho, Recommendations for Statistical Activities by Dwi Joko Purnomo, and Statistical Metadata by Muhammad Hasbi Ashshidiq.
