[Mamasa, June 12, 2024] - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Mamasa Regency conducted a Special Annual Expenditure Balance Survey (SKT) Surveyor Training for 2024. The training was held in two phases: online and offline. The offline training took place at the BPS Mamasa Regency Office. The total duration of the training was three days, from June 10-12, 2024
The Expenditure Balance SKT is a survey conducted by BPS as a basis for compiling the Gross Domestic Regional Product (PDRB) expenditure through the strategic indicator of Economic Growth. This survey is also an integration of several annual special surveys, namely the Special Survey of Non-Profit Institutions (SKLNP), Updating the Directory of Non-Profit Institutions (LNPRT), Special Survey of Private Companies (SKPS), Special Survey of Study of Changes in Inventory (SKSPPI), Special Survey of Government Input Structure (SKSIP). This survey is important to determine the expenditure patterns of households, business sectors, and non-profit institutions in order to calculate their contribution to the national economy.
This training was attended by 3 Field Examining Officers (PML) and 4 Field Data Collection Officers (PPL). The training materials were presented directly by Statistician First Expert, Syarif Kurniawan, S.Tr.Stat.
It is hoped that with this training, the field officers and supervisors will be able to understand the concepts, definitions, data collection methodology, and other matters related to the implementation of the 2024 Expenditure Balance SKT well. So that the data produced is accurate and quality data, which can ultimately produce valid and reliable expenditure PDRB data.
