Indonesia One Data Forum: Collaboration to Optimize Statistical Data Quality in Mamasa

[Mamasa, July 16, 2024] - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Mamasa Regency held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on One Data Indonesia with the theme "Collaboration to Improve the Quality of Sectoral Statistical Data in Mamasa Regency" which took place in the Hall of the BPS Mamasa Regency Office.

The event was attended by the Acting Regent of Mamasa Muhammad Zain, the Head of the Central Statistics Agency of West Sulawesi Province Tina Wahyufitri, the Head or representatives of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in the Mamasa Regency Government and the Head of Buntubuda Village, Balla Barat and Tondok Bakaru as representatives of the statistics-loving village (Desa Cantik) program in Mamasa Regency.

The Head of the BPS Mamasa Regency, Aan Setyawan, delivered a presentation on the Collaboration to Improve the Quality of Sectoral Statistical Data in Mamasa Regency, abbreviated as "Kopi Asik Mamasa". It was explained that the purpose of Kopi Asik Mamasa is to optimize the implementation of sectoral statistical guidance to Regional Apparatus Organizations on an ongoing basis through One Data Indonesia activities by the National Statistical System (SSN) with the hope of producing effective and efficient management of the One Data Indonesia Forum in Mamasa Regency, to support planning and evaluation of regional development based on data (Data Driven Policy).

The activity was concluded with the reading of the One Data Mamasa Regency Joint Commitment Script by the Acting Regent of Mamasa, followed by the signing of the Joint Commitment by the Acting Regent of Mamasa, the Head of the BPS Mamasa Regency, the Head of the Communication and Information Technology Service (Diskominfo), the Head of Bappeda and the Head of OPD in the Mamasa area.

With this activity, the Regional Apparatus Organizations in the Mamasa area can commit to carrying out their functions as sectoral data producers and collaborate to improve the quality of statistical data to realize One Data Mamasa Regency.
