Mamasa 2024 Elections: Collaborative Efforts to Ensure Successful Elections

[Mamasa, October 16, 2024] – The Head of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Mamasa Regency, Aan Setyawan, along with his team, attended an official invitation from the General Election Commission (KPU) of Mamasa Regency to attend a Coordination Meeting (Rakor) on voter transfer services held at the Mini Hall of Mamasa City.


The Coordination Meeting, organized by the KPU of Mamasa Regency, was attended by several related agencies, including the District Attorney's Office, the Resort Police, the District Military Command, and banks. The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss preparations for the 2024 Mamasa Regency Regent and Deputy Regent Election, focusing on compiling the Additional Voter List (DPTb). Harun Al Rasyid, as Head of the Division of Voter Education, Socialization, and Human Resources of the KPU of Mamasa Regency, announced that service posts for voter transfers had been prepared at the level of the Polling Station Committee and the District Election Committee.


As a speaker at the Coordination Meeting and as Commissioner of the Data and Information Planning Division, Nonce conveyed that the purpose of this activity was to inform all participants about the availability of facilities and infrastructure that had been prepared to facilitate all citizens in exercising their voting rights in the Simultaneous Regional Head Elections in 2024. "The availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure is one of the keys to the success of the elections," Nonce said. After the material presentation, a discussion and question-and-answer session was opened.
