SUSENAS March 2025: Recording the Social and Economic Conditions of the Mamasa Regency Society

February 20, 2025 | BPS Activities

[Mamasa, February 20, 2025] - The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Mamasa Regency is conducting SUSENAS (National Socio-Economic Survey) data collection in March 2025. This survey aims to obtain social data such as education and health and economic data such as food and non-food expenditure of the Mamasa Regency society. To obtain representative results, all sub-districts in Mamasa Regency were selected as samples with different numbers of Census Blocks (BS).

The March 2025 SUSENAS (National Socio-Economic Survey) data collection began on February 8 and ended on February 25. The data collection was conducted by 35 field officers (PCL) and 18 supervisors (PML). PCLs were tasked with going directly to the field while carrying identification tags from BPS to collect social and economic information on selected respondents. With identification, the society was expected to provide correct information and not have to worry about providing information.

Aan Setyawan, as Head of BPS Mamasa Regency, said that SUSENAS March 2025 could not run if there was no full support from field officers, supervisors, and the society. “SUSENAS March 2025 activities can run successfully when all stakeholders provide full commitment and cooperation, therefore I hope that field officers, supervisors, and the society can work together to produce quality and accurate social and economic data for Mamasa Regency,” he said.

With a total of 570 BS as the sampling frame, 57 BS were selected as the selected sample spread across 17 sub-districts. The selected households from each BS amounted to 10 households, resulting in a total of 570 selected households.  Of the 57 selected BS, Mamasa sub-district had the highest number of selected BS, namely 10 BS, while Tabang sub-district only had 1 BS, which was the sub-district with the least number of selected BS.

With the support of various related parties, it is expected that the results of SUSENAS March 2025 can make a real contribution to the welfare of the social and economic conditions of the people of Mamasa Regency.
