[Mamasa, March 13, 2025] – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Mamasa Regency held training for survey officers in the Manufacturing, Mining, Energy, and Construction sectors. This activity took place in the BPS Hall of Mamasa Regency and aimed to improve the competence of officers in collecting accurate and quality data.
This training was attended by 8 Survey Officers who will be on duty in the field. In addition, this activity was also attended by the Head of BPS Mamasa Regency Aan Setyawan, SST., M.Sc., 2 Regional instructors, and 2 Committees who are responsible for the smooth running of the event.
In his speech, Aan Setyawan, SST., M.Si. emphasized the importance of valid and accurate data to support regional development policies. "This survey has a strategic role in providing reliable data for the government and business actors. Therefore, this training is expected to equip officers with the skills needed in the field," he said.
The instructor provided material on survey methodology, interview techniques, and procedures for filling out questionnaires so that the data obtained is in accordance with BPS standards. It was also explained that this data collection is quarterly and also annual. Quarterly surveys will be conducted every quarter, which means they are conducted 4 times a year. While annual surveys are only conducted once a year.
With this training, it is expected that survey officers can work professionally and produce accurate data to support development planning in Mamasa Regency. BPS Mamasa Regency is committed to continuously improving the quality of human resources in order to achieve quality and reliable statistics.
