[Mamasa, March 14, 2025] – Statistics of Mamasa Regency held an interactive discussion titled SIGMA STRIKES BACK on Friday, March 14, 2025. The event took place in the Technical Room of BPS Mamasa Regency and started at 09:30 WITA until completion. This discussion aimed to enhance participants' understanding of two crucial aspects: Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and the budget disbursement mechanism at Statistics of Mamasa Regency.
The Head of Statistics of Mamasa Regency, Aan Setyawan, expressed his expectations for this event, "We hope this discussion can improve employees' understanding of GRDP so they can provide more accurate explanations when the public seeks information. Additionally, a good understanding of the budget disbursement process is crucial to prevent misunderstandings in future activities."
The discussion featured two main speakers, Laksmi Tri Gustini, S.Tr.Stat., and Sausan Salsabila, S.Tr.Stat., who covered two key topics. The event was moderated by Tison, S.E., ensuring the session remained interactive and informative.
During the discussion on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), Sausan Salsabila explained the basic concept of GRDP to make it easier for participants to understand. GRDP is an economic indicator that measures the total added value generated by all economic sectors within a specific region over a given period. GRDP differs from Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which covers the entire national territory, whereas GRDP focuses only on the provincial or district/city level.
The types of GRDP discussed included GRDP at current prices (ADHB), which reflects economic value at present prices, and GRDP at constant prices (ADHK), which is used to measure economic growth by eliminating the effects of inflation.
The second topic in this discussion was the budget disbursement mechanism at BPS Mamasa Regency, presented by Laksmi Tri Gustini. Budget disbursement is a critical process in supporting operational activities and various statistical programs conducted by BPS.
Through this discussion, Statistics of Mamasa Regency hopes to provide broader insights to participants regarding the importance of understanding GRDP and the budget disbursement mechanism to ensure the smooth execution of statistical activities.
