BPS Mamasa Regency Holds Launching of Desa Cantik 2025, Public Service FGD, and Sectoral Statistics Development

[Mamasa, May 21, 2025] — The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Mamasa Regency held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) titled “Launching of Desa Cantik, Public Service, and Sectoral Statistics Development” at the Pola Room, Mamasa Regent’s Office. This event served as a strategic platform to strengthen data collaboration between BPS, local government, and village apparatus.

The event was officially opened by the Deputy Regent of Mamasa, Drs. H. Sudirman. “The Desa Cantik program aligns with our spirit to build data-based villages and quality public services. Accurate data will accelerate targeted development,” he said in his remarks.

One of the main agendas was the signing of the Desa Cantik 2025 Charter, as a commitment from the village government to become a statistics-aware village. Additionally, the signing of the Public Service Minutes was conducted as a form of synergy between BPS and service partners to improve the quality of data-based public services.

On this occasion, BPS Mamasa also awarded the Desa Cantik Certificate to Osango Village, which successfully applied statistical principles in its village governance. Furthermore, BPS gave awards to the Health Office, Tourism Office, and Population and Civil Registration Office as the best Regional Government Organizations (OPD) in 2024 for their active contribution in supporting the publication of "Mamasa Regency in Figures 2025."

The FGD was attended by representatives from OPDs, sub-district heads, and village heads. It is hoped that this activity will strengthen the sectoral statistical ecosystem and encourage the realization of more transparent and data-based governance.
