[Mamasa, May 27, 2025] – The 2025 Village Potential Survey (PODES) will be conducted throughout the entire month of June 2025, from early to late June. As preparation, 29 PODES survey officers participated in training organized by the Mamasa Regency Statistics Office (BPS Mamasa). The training was held in a hybrid format, with online sessions on May 26, 2025, followed by in-person training on May 27, 2025, at Hotel Sajojo, Mamasa.

The training was officially opened by Fajar Rizki Pujo Prastowo, Chair of the Employment Statistics and PODES Team. “This year’s PODES includes several adjustments in both the materials and questionnaires. However, relevant and up-to-date village data remain our top priority,” he said.

During the training, participants received theoretical materials, case studies, and hands-on practice through role-playing data collection activities with respondents. This method aims to improve the officers’ communication skills and the effectiveness of data collection in the field.

Closing the training, the Head of BPS Mamasa, Aan Setyawan, emphasized the importance of PODES in regional development. “Village potential data is crucial as the foundation for development planning in Mamasa Regency. Accurate and current data will support more targeted, effective, and efficient village policies,” he stated.

It is hoped that this training will equip the officers adequately so that the 2025 PODES implementation runs smoothly and produces high-quality village data for sustainable development.
