September 18, 2026 | BPS Activities
[Mamasa, September 18, 2026] – The Mamasa Regency Statistics Indonesia (BPS) office is conducting the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) for September 2026 and the Quarterly Household Survey (Seruti) for the third quarter of 2026. These activities are part of BPS's efforts to provide socio-economic data on the population, which can be used to assess the conditions and welfare trends of households in Mamasa Regency.
The series of activities began with field officer training held online on August 26, 2026, followed by in-person sessions on August 28 and 29, 2026. Through this training, officers were equipped with knowledge regarding concepts and definitions, interview procedures, and the use of data collection applications prior to carrying out their duties in the field.
Subsequently, officers conducted household listing updates from September 1 to 6, 2026. This stage was carried out to update household information within the sample areas before commencing the enumeration phase.
The enumeration for the September Susenas and the third-quarter Seruti took place from September 7 to 16, 2026. The activity covered 10 districts in Mamasa Regency, involving a sample of 14 Local Environment Units (SLS) and 140 households. For the implementation, BPS Mamasa Regency deployed 14 Field Enumerators (PPL) and 6 Field Supervisors (PML).
Officers conducted face-to-face interviews with sampled households to gather various socio-economic data. The September 2026 Susenas covers information on household member characteristics, education, health, housing, as well as household expenditure and consumption. Meanwhile, the third-quarter Seruti serves as a source of periodic data to track changes in household socio-economic conditions over time.
Throughout the data collection process, Field Supervisors (PML) verified the enumeration results to ensure the collected data complied with established guidelines. This verification stage is crucial for maintaining the quality of the resulting data. With the completion of the September Susenas and Third Quarter 2026 Seruti data collection activities, BPS Mamasa Regency remains committed to producing high-quality statistical data that provides an overview of the community's socio-economic conditions, serving as a resource to support data-driven development planning.
