Abstract

Based on results of Consumer price survey for 82 cities in Indonesia in April 2018, showed that 54 cities experienced inflation and 28 cities was deflation. The highest inflation occured in Merauke, 1.32 percent with IHK 138.07. The lowlest inflation occured in Padang and Kudus, respectively 0.01 percent. Mamuju become 26th out of 54 cities that experiencing inflation.

Inflation in Mamuju in April 2018 has been caused by price increases, shown by the increase in the price in all of expenditure categories, like food inflation category 0.61 percent, fast food, drinks, ciggarette and tobacco inflation category 0.10 percent, house, water, electricity, gases and fuel inflation by 0.13 percent, clothing inflation category 0.16 percent, health inflation group 0.12 percent, education, recreation and sports 0.01 percent and transportation, communications and inflation of financial services 0.12 percent.

The rate of change of April 2018 calendar year index in Mamuju was inflation 0.46 percent, while the rate of year-on-year index change (April 2018 to April 2017) was inflation 2.80 percent.
