Abstract

SP2020 recorded population of Sulawesi Barat in September 2020 as many as 1,419 million. Compared with the results of the previous census, the population of Sulawesi Barat constantly increasing. The results compared with the SP2010 SP2020 show the addition of a population of 260 thousand inhabitants or an average of 26.0 thousand lives each year.

In the last ten years (2010-2020), the population growth rate Sulawesi Barat of 1.98 percent per year. There is a slowdown in the population growth rate by 0.70 percentage points compared to the growth rate population in the period 2000-2010 which amounted to 2.68 percent.
