Abstract

The export value of Sulawesi Barat in October 2021 reached US $ 44.03 million, down 21.92 percent compared to September 2021. Different conditions compared to October 2020 where there was an increase of 20.94 percent.

Animal / vegetable fat & oil is the main export commodity of Sulawesi Barat Province during October 2021 with a contribution of 98.34 percent of the total exports of Sulawesi Barat Province.

China, the Philippines and Malaysia became the main destination for Sulawesi Barat exports during October 2021.

Cumulatively, the value of Sulawesi Barat's exports rose by 28.87 percent, from US $ 397.18 million (January-October 2020) to US $ 511.84 million (January-October 2021).

Foreign trade statistics is the result of compiling data on trade transactions between countries, both export and import transactions. Export statistical data is realized data from trade transactions originating in goods exports notification documents (PEB). While importing statistical data, sourced on the item imports notification document (PIB). Documents were approved by the Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office (KPPBC). In the preparation, the type of commodity is grouped based on the classification of Harmonized System (HS) as in the Indonesian Customs Tariff (BTKI) book. Besides that, it also contains information about trade transportation trade in the port of loading goods exported goods to destination countries and unloading ports from the country of origin of imported goods.
