Abstract

  • The export value of Sulawesi Barat Province in December 2024 reached US$ 28.67 million, down 42.60 percent compared to November 2024. The conditions were the same compared to December 2023 where there was a decrease of 53.71 percent.
  • Animal/vegetable fats & oils are the main export commodities of Sulawesi Barat Province during December 2024 with a contribution of 99.07 percent of the total exports of Sulawesi Barat Province.
  • China is the main export destination country for Sulawesi Barat Province during December 2024 with a contribution of 99.22 percent.
  • During December 2024 there will be no import activities in Sulawesi Barat Province. This condition is different compared to November 2024 which was recorded at US$ 0.78 million.
  • Cumulatively, the import value of Sulawesi Barat Province fell by 70.95 percent, from US$ 13.12 million (January-December 2023) to US$ 3.81 million (January-December 2024).
  • Foreign trade statistical data is the result of a compilation of trade transaction data between countries, both export and import transactions. Export statistical data is realization data from trade transactions sourced from the Goods Export Notification (PEB) document. Meanwhile, import statistical data is sourced from the Goods Import Notification (PIB) document. Documents are approved by the Customs and Excise Supervision and Services Office (KPPBC). In its preparation, commodity types are grouped based on the Harmonized System (HS) classification as in the Indonesian Customs Tariff Book (BTKI). Apart from that, it also contains information regarding trade transportation traffic at the port of loading of export goods to the destination country and the port of unloading from the country of origin of the imported goods.
