The Mamasa Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) was involved in preparing a map of food security and vulnerability in Mamasa Regency, Tuesday (03/10/2023). The team implementing the activities is stated in the Decree of the Head of the Mamasa Regency Food Security Service No. 188/28/Kpts/DKP/VIII/2023 dated 9 August 2023 concerning the Appointment of a Team to Prepare the Food Security and Vulnerability Map (FSVA) for Mamasa Regency in 2023. This activity was led directly by the Head of the Mamasa Regency Food Security Service, Mrs. Dra. Dorcas Pampang. Apart from the Central Statistics Agency, other agencies involved include the Social Service, Agriculture Service, Health Service, and Bappelitbangda. The aim of this activity is to provide accurate and comprehensive information on food security and insecurity. The result data can be presented in geospatial form. Dra. Dorkas Pampang stated in his direction that a food security and vulnerability map is very important to see the potential for a food crisis that might hit the area in the future so that mitigation can be immediately formulated to overcome the food crisis problem in Mamasa Regency.
