BPS Mamasa Regency Goes to School 2024

[01/31/2024] - BPS Mamasa Regency held an outreach for official campuses under the auspices of BPS, namely the STIS Statistics Polytechnic (Polstat STIS) with the theme BPS Goes to School. Socialization was carried out at 2 schools, namely SMK Negeri 1 Mamasa and SMA Negeri 1 Mamasa. The socialization was attended by grade 12 students of the Computer Network Engineering Department (TKJ) at SMKN 1 Mamasa and all grade 12 students of SMAN 1 Mamasa.

The socialization opened with remarks from the Head of BPS Mamasa Regency, Aan Setyawan, followed by presentation of material from speakers, namely Auliya Nujumul Laily and Fajar Rizki Pujo Prastowo. In presenting the material, the speaker explained the background of Polstat STIS, followed by an explanation of the study programs provided by Polstat STIS, namely the statistics department (economic and social population) and the statistical computing department, campus location, as well as the facilities of the STIS Polstat Campus and others.

The activity was interactive with a question and answer discussion conducted by the students and the presenters. It is hoped that this activity will attract students' interest in registering at the STIS Statistics Polytechnic (Polstat STIS). After that, a fun quiz with prizes was held, followed by closing.

The principal hopes that several students will become students at the STIS Statistics Polytechnic. Apart from that, the principal really appreciates socialization activities, so that students will be helped in planning their secondary school after completing their studies at senior high school or equivalent (SMA/SMK).
