[Jakarta, November 8, 2024] – The head of the Indonesia Statistics (BPS) of Mamasa Regency, Aan Setyawan, actively participated in the National Coordination Meeting held in Sentul, Bogor, on November 7, 2024. This National Coordination Meeting was officially opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, who in his speech emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration to realize a more advanced Indonesia.
The National Coordination Meeting initiated by the Ministry of Home Affairs was attended by 5,360 participants from various government institutions. In addition to representatives from central ministries/institutions, this National Coordination Meeting was also attended by regional leaders from all over Indonesia. The main objective of this National Coordination Meeting is to strengthen cooperation between Indonesia Statistics and other government agencies to improve the quality of national statistical data. Thus, it is hoped that the data can be utilized optimally in the data-based decision-making process.
In addition to attending the National Coordination Meeting in Sentul, Aan Setyawan also attended the National Coordination Meeting for the Submission of the Indonesia Statistics Work Plan for the 2025 Fiscal Year at the STIS Statistics Polytechnic Auditorium on November 8, 2024. On this occasion, the Acting Head of Indonesia Statistics RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, conveyed Indonesia Statistics' commitment to supporting Indonesia's vision for the next five years.
On this occasion, Aan Setyawan emphasized his commitment to continue to strive to improve the quality and utilization of statistical data at the district level. "We are committed to improving the quality of statistical data and ensuring that the data is maximally beneficial for development in Mamasa Regency. Collaboration with the local government and all stakeholders is the key to the success of this effort," said Aan. Active participation in this National Coordination Meeting shows Indonesia Statistics Mamasa Regency's commitment to supporting digital transformation in statistical data management and playing an active role in national development.
