EA SLS: Map Renewal in Mamasa Regency

[Mamasa, August 14, 2024] — The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Mamasa Regency continues the Village Potential Survey through the implementation of the Enumeration Area Satuan Lingkungan Setempat (EA SLS) 2024, which takes place from August 1 to August 31, 2024. This survey aims to collect information on changes occurring in the Satuan Lingkungan Setempat (SLS) continuously and to update the data for SLS that have undergone changes.

This EA SLS survey plays a crucial role in producing the latest SLS master and maps, which will serve as a reference for updating the sampling framework for future statistical activities.

"There are 63 new SLSs resulting from the division of the old SLSs. These new SLSs are spread across 7 sub-districts in Mamasa Regency," said Pandi, the person in charge of the activity.

In addition, geotagging was also carried out on the boundaries of these SLSs, which will later be used as a guide in creating the Statistical Work Area (Wilkerstat) maps. Through this activity, BPS Mamasa Regency is committed to ensuring that the data remains accurate and up-to-date, to support various statistical activities in the future, especially in planning and decision-making at the regional level.
