VIMK Quarterly 2024: Survey Officer Training to Improve IMK Data Accuracy

[Mamasa, October 8, 2024] – Statistic Indonesia (BPS) of Mamasa Regency held the 2024 Quarterly Micro and Small Industry Survey Officer (VIMK) Training at the Mamasa Regency BPS Office with 2 regional instructors and 2 enumerators as participants.

The activity was opened directly by the Head of BPS Mamasa Regency, Aan Setyawan, and also under the direction of the Head of the Production Team, Herni. Officers will be spread across three sub-districts with a total of three census blocks to conduct data collection/enumeration on selected industrial samples of 14 main samples. The enumeration activity for the third quarter will be carried out on October 8-18, 2024. This survey is a routine quarterly survey conducted by BPS which aims to collect data and information on micro and small industries in Indonesia which is then used as material for macro-economic development planning.

In his speech, Aan said that the activity carried out was not only to collect data but considering the important role of MSMEs in the national economy, more accurate data and information related to the development of MSMEs are needed. "With accurate data, we can identify the potential and challenges faced by micro and small business actors, so that business development and coaching programs can be more focused and effective." said Aan. At the end of the training activity, Herni expressed her gratitude for the cooperation of the committee and training participants in making this activity a success, and hoped that the results obtained would be in accordance with what had been targeted.
