BPS Mamasa Visit: Coordination of Implementation of PODES Activities and K3 Survey

[Monday, April 22 2024] - Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Mamasa Regency and his team visited the Mamasa Regent's Office with the aim of coordinating the implementation of Village Potential data collection activities (Podes) and the Village/Nagari Government Financial Statistics Survey (K3) which will be implemented in May 2024.

Aan Setyawan, in his speech gave a general overview of these two activities. Podes is a comprehensive village profile data collection, covering demographic, economic, social, cultural and infrastructure aspects. The Podes results will become basic data for development planning at the village, sub-district and district levels. Meanwhile, the K3 Survey aims to collect data regarding village/nagari finances, including income, expenditure and village/nagari assets. This data will be used to monitor village/nagari financial performance and to support the preparation of policies related to village/nagari finances.

Aan Setyawan emphasized the importance of these two activities for Mamasa Regency. "The data produced from Podes and the K3 Survey are very important to support planning and policy making in Mamasa Regency," he said. Therefore, Aan Setyawan hopes that the Mamasa Regency Government can provide full support for the implementation of these two activities. "Support from the Mamasa Regency Government is very important for the smooth implementation of the Podes and K3 Survey," he said.

The Acting Regent of Mamasa, Muhammad Zain, in his speech welcomed the plan to implement the Podes and K3 Survey in Mamasa Regency. "The Mamasa Regency Government is ready to fully support the implementation of the Podes and K3 Survey," he said. With full support from the Mamasa Regency Government, it is hoped that the implementation of the Podes and K3 Survey in Mamasa Regency can run smoothly and produce quality data. These data will later become very valuable material for development planning and policy formulation in Mamasa Regency.
