[Mamasa, November 8, 2024] – To gain deeper insights into the economic conditions of Mamasa Regency's residents, Statistics Indonesia (BPS) held a preparation meeting for the fourth-quarter Household Economic Survey (Seruti). The meeting, conducted in the BPS auditorium, involved 12 field enumerators (PCL) from BPS partners and 5 field supervisors (PML).
Fajar Rizki Pujo Prastowo, S.Tr.Stat., as the instructor, emphasized that this meeting was not just a routine gathering but also a platform to share experiences and find solutions to common challenges faced during data collection. "We want to ensure that the data we collect is truly accurate and relevant," he stated.
One of the innovations to be implemented in this survey is the use of a digital application to streamline the data collection process. This application is expected to make data recording more efficient and reduce errors.
A total of 120 sample households will be visited by field officers from November 11 to 30, 2024. Through direct interviews, officers will gather data on household expenditures for various needs, ranging from food to education. This data will serve as a crucial reference for the government in formulating targeted policies to improve the welfare of Mamasa's residents.
