"In Mamasa Regency, approximately 520 sample households will be surveyed until August 31, 2024. This survey is crucial as it will provide representative estimates of labor market data at the district and city levels. The data collected will include various labor market indicators, such as the number of working individuals, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK), the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT), and other relevant indicators," said Fajar, the person in charge of the activity.
This year, Sakernas has recorded significant changes in data collection methods. For the first time, the survey is being conducted using CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing), where officials collect data through the FASIH application installed on their smartphones. This use of the application replaces the traditional method of printed questionnaires used in previous years.
Officials involved in the Sakernas data collection are expected to adhere to the established procedures to maintain data quality. Additionally, supervision is crucial to ensure that the data collection process runs smoothly. With strong cooperation between the data collectors and supervisors, it is hoped that this survey will proceed effectively and produce accurate and high-quality labor market data.
The Sakernas survey in Mamasa Regency is a crucial step in obtaining a real picture of the labor market conditions in the region, which will be highly valuable for future development planning.
