[Mamasa, February 18, 2025] – BPS-Statistic of Mamasa Regency is currently conducting the updating and data collection activities for the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) February 2025. This activity aims to obtain the latest data on the employment conditions in Mamasa Regency, which will serve as a basis for labor policy planning and evaluation. The survey is being conducted in 12 out of 17 districts in Mamasa Regency, covering various areas to obtain a representative picture of employment conditions.
The data updating phase was carried out from January 24 to February 7, 2025. This process aims to ensure that the list of households selected as respondents for the main data collection is up-to-date with actual conditions in the field. Subsequently, the main data collection will take place from February 8 to February 28, 2025, during which census officers will visit selected households to collect data on employment status, type of work, business sector, and other employment-related information.
The Head of BPS-Statistic of Mamasa Regency, Aan Setyawan, stated that the February 2025 Sakernas plays a strategic role in providing accurate data on employment conditions in the region. “Through this survey, we can gain a more comprehensive picture of the unemployment rate, job availability, and the challenges faced by the community in the workforce. The data collected will serve as a foundation for the government in formulating more effective employment policies,” he said.
BPS Mamasa Regency urges all residents, especially households selected as respondents, to support this activity by providing truthful and accurate information to the appointed officers. The field officers assigned to the February 2025 Sakernas have been equipped with official identification badges and assignment letters from BPS, ensuring that the public does not need to worry about providing information.
