Abstract

West Sulawesi economy first quarter of 2015 as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached 7.56 trillion rupiah and while at constant prices in 2010 reached 6.03 trillion rupiah.

West Sulawesi economy first quarter of 2015 experienced a negative growth of 4.26 percent (q to q). In terms of production, the highest growth by categories of agriculture, forestry and fishery amounted to 10.39 percent. From the expenditure side the highest growth achieved by exports amounted to 4.50 percent.

As for the economy of West Sulawesi when measured based on the same quarter of 2014 experienced a growth of 6.02 percent. The highest growth in the category amounted to 22.02 per cent in manufacturing and 7.65 per cent in gross fixed capital formation component according to expenditure.
