Abstract

The economy of West Sulawesi second quarter of 2015 as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached 8.24 trillion rupiah and while at constant prices in 2010 reached 6.46 trillion rupiah.

Economics West Sulawesi second quarter of 2015 grew by 7.32 percent (q to q). From the approach of the industry, the highest growth achieved by the category of agriculture, forestry and fishery amounted to 11.91 percent. From the expenditure side the highest growth achieved by government consumption component of 113.35 percent.

As for the economy of West Sulawesi when measured based on the same quarter in 2014 (y on y) grew 8.40 percent. The highest growth of the field of business by 17.75 per cent in the category of administration and expenditure amounted to 35.12 per cent in government consumption expenditure component.

Cumulatively (quarter I-II) in 2015 when compared with the same conditions in 2014 (c to c), West Sulawesi economy grew by 7.15 percent. The highest growth of the field of business is the processing industry grew 14.29 percent. In terms of expenditure amounting to 10.70 per cent in gross fixed capital formation (GFCF).

On a regional scale in Central Sulawesi-Maluku-Papua, the highest economic growth in q to q occur in North Sulawesi with a growth rate of 7.44 percent. Growth y on y and c to c highest in Central Sulawesi with respective growth of 15.72 percent and 16.26 percent.
