Based on the results of the Consumer Price Survey of 82 cities in Indonesia in August 2019, showing that 44 cities experienced inflation and 38 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Kudus by 0.82 percent and the lowest in Pare-Pare by 0.04 percent, while the highest deflation occurred in Bau-Bau by 2.10 percent and the lowest in Tegal by 0.02 percent. Mamuju with inflation of 0.43 percent ranks 9th out of 44 cities experiencing inflation.
