Abstract

Sulawesi Barat's economy in 2021 measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the basis of current prices reached 50.34 trillion rupiah, while on the basis of constant 2010 prices reached 32.87 trillion rupiah.

Sulawesi Barat's economy in 2021 experienced growth of 2.56 percent compared to 2020 (C-to-C). Increased value-added creation occurs in almost all business field categories. The biggest source of economic growth occurs in the construction category. While in terms of expenditure, the source of the largest economic growth comes from the component of gross fixed capital formation (PMTB).

The economy of Sulawesi Barat quarterly IV-2021 experienced growth of 3.32 percent compared to the quarter IV-2020 (Y-on-Y).

The economy of Sulawesi Barat, the quarterly IV-2021 experienced a growth of 2.02 percent compared to the third quarter of 2021 (Q-to-Q).

On a regional scale in the Sulawesi area of Maluku Papua, the highest economic growth in 2021 occurred in North Maluku by 16.40 percent, followed by Papua at 15.11 percent and Central Sulawesi was 11.70 percent. The Sulawesi Barat has experienced a growth of 2.56 percent, occupying the eighth position of ten provinces.
