Reconciliation of Regional Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Data Based on Industry

In fulfilling the strategic data requirements of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), specifically the eagerly awaited Economic Growth data by policymakers and stakeholders both at the regional and central levels, the BPS is committed to providing this strategic data quickly and accurately. Before the release of Economic Growth data, a regional data reconciliation is conducted in each province throughout Indonesia. The reconciliation of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) for the second and third quarters of 2023 at the district level is a crucial step in the compilation of quarterly PDRB for each district, aimed at obtaining high-quality data for economic growth that reflects the conditions of each region in the province.

The Mamasa District BPS once again participated in the reconciliation of PDRB by economic sector for the second and third quarters of 2023, conducted by the BPS of West Sulawesi Province. The event commenced on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 08:00 WITA and was inaugurated by Mrs. Irwanti Hadnus, S.ST, the person in charge of the production balance at the BPS of West Sulawesi Province, who also provided guidance on the reconciliation process scheduled to continue until November 23, 2023. The reconciliation proceeded smoothly, and it is hoped that the results obtained will be effectively utilized by policymakers and stakeholders in the future.
