Coordination Meeting of BPS People's Welfare Statistics for West Sulawesi Regencies

[Friday, November 22, 2024] - The BPS Social Statistics Team of Mamasa Regency attended the Coordination Meeting of BPS People's Welfare Statistics for West Sulawesi Regencies, which was held at the Grand Maleo Hotel, Mamuju on November 19-21, 2024. This activity was attended by Fajar Rizki Pujo Prastowo and Muh. Feby Putra as representatives of BPS Mamasa Regency.


This Coordination Meeting aims to evaluate the implementation of the 2024 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti), guidelines for compiling the publication of People's Welfare Statistics, and preparing for the Implementation of the 2025 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) which will be implemented next year. During the three-day meeting, participants actively discussed the preparation of the Publication of District People's Welfare Statistics which will be released in December 2024. In addition, the methodology, data collection techniques, and concepts and definitions of the March 2025 Susenas were also discussed.


This forum is a strategic step to ensure the quality of the statistical data collected. With accurate and reliable data, regional development policies can be designed more effectively and equitably. "Through this forum, we can share experiences and deepen our understanding of existing problems," said Fajar. This meeting also strengthens collaboration between parties to increase understanding of the importance of statistics in achieving sustainable people's welfare.
