Abstract

Based on the results of the Consumer Price Survey 82 cities in Indonesia in July 2015, showed that 80 cities experienced inflation and deflation of two cities. The highest inflation was in Louth 3.18 percent with CPI of 121.65 and the lowest at Pematangsiantar 0.06 percent with CPI of 123.59. While the highest deflation in Merauke 0.65 percent with CPI of 122.44 and the lowest at Tanjung Pandan -0.14 percent with CPI of 125.30. With inflation of 0.99 percent and CPI 119.82, Mamuju ranks 32nd out of the 80 cities that experienced inflation. Inflation in Mamuju in July 2015 occurred due to price increases shown by the increase in the price index in the five expenditure groups, namely: foodstuffs at 2.49 percent; clothing group of 2.04 percent; education, recreation and sport 1.88 percent; transport, communication and financial services 0.62 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.25 percent. while food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco and health groups tend to be stable. Calendar-year rate of change in the index in July 2015 in Mamuju is inflation 2.54 percent while the inflation rate year-on-year (July 2015 to July 2014) amounted to 7.74 percent. Indonesia in July 2015 experienced inflation of 0.93 percent with CPI of 121.26. As for the calendar year to July 2015, Indonesia experienced inflation of 1.90 percent and the index for the year to year change (July 2015 to July 2014) experienced inflation of 7.26 percent.
