Abstract

Based on the results of the Consumer Price Survey 82 cities in Indonesia in April 2015, showed that 72 cities experienced inflation and 10 cities deflation. The highest inflation was in Tual 1.31 percent with CPI of 132.54 and the lowest at 0.02 percent with CPI Cilacap 120.76. As for deflation, the highest in Manokwari -0.69 percent with CPI of 112.66 and the lowest at Sukabumi Kendari and -0.03 percent respectively. With inflation of 0.09 per cent and CPI 116.31, Mamuju ranks 65th out of 72 cities that experienced inflation. Inflation in Mamuju in April 2015 occurred due to price increases shown by the increase in the price index in six groups of expenditure, namely: transport, communication and financial services 1.44 percent; health group 0.58 percent; clothing group 0.47 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.22 percent; education, recreation and sport 0.16 percent; and processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.06 percent. While one group experienced deflation ie food group index fell 1.24 percent. Rate of change of the index in April 2015 calendar year Mamuju is deflation -0.46 percent while the inflation rate year-on-year (April 2015 to April 2014) amounted to 6.68 percent. Indonesia in April 2015 experienced inflation of 0.36 percent with CPI of 118.91. As for the calendar year until the month of April 2015, Indonesia experienced a deflation of -0.08 percent and the index for the year to year changes in inflation (April 2015 to April 2014) amounted to 6.79 percent.
