Abstract

Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) West Sulawesi in July 2015 amounted to 105.32; NTP increased 0.53 percent compared to June 2015 amounted to 104.76. In addition, the NTP according to the subsector recorded for Food Crops subsector (NTP P) 96.13; Horticultural subsector (NTP-H) 99.52; Smallholder Crop Subsector (NTP-R) 116.55; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) 102.23; and Fisheries Subsector (NTN) 102.14. NTP Fisheries Subsector formed from the combination of fisheries and aquaculture has the NTP respectively by 103.31 and 100.05. The monitoring results indicate the occurrence of rural consumer price inflation in the rural areas of West Sulawesi in July 2015 by 0.39 percent, which is generally triggered by the rising price index seven expenditure groups, where the price index of food expenditure group increased by 0.42 percent, the price index of the group spending foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco increased by 0.18 percent, housing expenditure price index by 0.21 percent, clothing expenditure price index of 1.89 percent, health expenditures price index group by 0.02 percent, expenditure price index of education, recreation and sport 0.97 percent, and the group of transport and communication expenses of 0.17 percent.
